SANY EVI Fleet Management – Privacy & Terms
The SANY EVI Fleet Management System (FMS) enables digital monitoring of your machine fleet. Through EVI, information such as machine usage, fault codes, maintenance status and (if enabled) location data can be accessed for the purposes of service, maintenance, technical support and operational insight.
When using EVI, machine data and, to a limited extent, personal data (for example of users or contact persons within your organisation) may be processed.
SANY Benelux B.V. attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and processes data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Which data may be processed?
Depending on the use of EVI, the following categories of data may be processed:
- Account and contact details (such as name, company name and email address);
- Machine and usage data (such as operating hours, fault codes and maintenance status);
- Location data of the machine (if this function is enabled);
- Technical log and system data.
This data is processed exclusively for purposes such as:
- monitoring of the machine;
- service and maintenance;
- technical support;
- and improvement of our services.
Who is responsible for the processing of data?
SANY Benelux B.V. acts as the data controller for the processing of personal data in connection with the SANY EVI Fleet Management System.
